Guruvanikal means Guru’s Words

For this project, Guruvanikal refers to the preservation, study, explanation, translation, and public transmission of the Malayalam words of Navajyothi Sree Karunakara Guru.

Guruvanikal is not generic spirituality. It is a disciplined return to source: Malayalam text, stable source IDs, careful explanation, and correction of life.

Why source IDs matter

Every public teaching must return to source IDs such as GV1:P0432. Source IDs protect the teaching from hearsay, personality opinion, careless translation, and social-media distortion.

What Guruvanikal protects

  • Original Malayalam source text.

  • Source IDs and page ledgers.

  • Malayalam key terms.

  • Distinction between quote, translation, commentary, and application.

  • Careful English explanation.

Guru’s word must not be turned into decoration. It must guide practice, correction, and humility.
